Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara last week was admitted to hospital to receive medical treatment for a heart ailment.
Nanayakkara was admitted to a private hospital following medical advice to put in place a stent to address a minor heart ailment, it is learnt.
It is also learnt that Nanayakkara is to undergo the medical procedure following medical advice and not because of any symptomatic ailment.
