Supreme Court temporarily closed, cases to be rescheduled

The Supreme Court of Sri Lanka has yesterday (08) released a statement under the direction of the Chief Justice that the Court will remain closed due to the Keselwatte police division being declared as an isolated area. "The cases that were filed from 9 to 11 November 2020 will be postponed and will be mentioned on 16 December 2020," the statement said. Further, it stated that the rescheduling of cases scheduled for 12 and 13 November will be notified in due course. Attorneys and junior counselors were advised to schedule convenient dates for their counsel.
