Maligawatte Police has arrested a suspect who was in possession of a .38 pistol, stated Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana today.
The police had also recovered 2 grams of heroin, 18 grams of ice and 10 grams of cannabis from the 34 year old suspect.
The Spokesman asked the public to assist in the police Operations against narcotics, deforestation and slaughter of wild animals by reporting them to 1997.
