Suspects linked to Easter attacks escorted back to SL

A group of suspects including Mohamed Milhan, a cadre who was a member of the terrorist group and allegedly directly involved in the Easter Sunday attacks have been arrested in Dubai.

Five suspects in all, including Milhan, were deported to Sri Lanka by the Dubai authorities and were escorted by a group of officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) back to the island this morning.

Police Spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekara had stated that the suspects arrived in Sri Lanka at around 4:00 a.m. today and thereafter are being held under the custody of the CID.
