The Terrorist Investigations Division (TID) has arrested two suspects who are alleged of having links to the National Thowheed Jamath (NTJ) leader, Zahran Hashim.
The suspects were taken into custody in Kandy during a raid which was carried out by the Army and the Police TID.
The suspects had been residing in a house in Hingula, Kandy when the raids had taken place.
The Police had said that the detainees had identified themselves as a computer technician and a driver.
Investigations revealed that they had maintained close connections with Zahran and had also received training in Kattankudi, Madampe and Nuwara Eliya.Suspects with links to Zahran arrested in Kandy
