Indian MP Subramanian Swamy is to visit Sri Lanka on Tuesday (12), with participation in a talk on national security on the agenda.
Swamy will deliver a lecture at the Institute of National Security Studies, official sources told The Sunday Morning.
He is also to have meetings with both Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa as well as Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa, sources said.
Swamy’s trip to the country comes just a week after Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla’s official visit.
Swamy will be on a two-day visit and is scheduled to return to India on 14 October.
