The Swiss Embassy staffer who was allegedly abducted, harassed and questioned by an unidentified group was produced to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in Angoda.
The victim has reportedly undergone a mental health examination by a panel of psychiatrists.
The report on her mental health condition will be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (17).
She has also been examined by the Colombo Judicial Medical Officer to determine whether she was sexually assaulted during the alleged incident.
The CID has recorded several statements from the victim in the past two weeks.
Following her examination at the NIMH she has reportedly been brought back to the CID to continue providing a statement.
