Approval for tax relief on large scale water supply and sewage management projects implemented by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board has been granted by the Cabinet of Ministers yesterday (22), in accordance with the proposal tabled by Minister of City Planning and Water Supply Vasudeva Nanayakkara.
Therefore, the large scale water supply projects in Hemmaththagama, Ruwanwella, Jaffna and Kilinochchi, Ratmalana/ Moratuwa and Kalu Ganga will be released from taxes charged under the prevailing laws and consequent steps are being taken to facilitate these projects.Tax relief for large scale water supply projects
