Three-wheel and taxi drivers have been granted permission to transport employees of private and public institutions, Police Media Spokesperson SP Jaliya Senarathne said.
He told The Morning that taxi and three-wheel drivers who are transporting employees will be checked by police officers conducting inspections. In such cases, they will not be immediately booked for violating curfew.
