Tele-conversations between Ranjan and CID leaked

Several audio clips purportedly between former State Minister Ranjan Ramanayake and officers attached to the CID have surfaced on social media. The telephone recordings had reportedly been found in CDs and DVDs seized by the Police from Ramanayake’s house over the weekend. The male voice purportedly to be Ramanayake's inquires into controversial cases including the disappearances of journalists and murders that took place during the Rajapaksa rule. Ramanayake also seeks information about certain individuals including Former Navy Commander Wasantha Karannagoda, Chairman of Avant-Garde Nissanka Senadhipathi, UNP former Minister Vajira Abeywardana, President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s top aide Gamini Senarath and former Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe. Conversations with regard to 'Navy Sampath', Thajudeen's case, Easter attacks, 11 youth abduction are included in the leaked audio clips.
