The Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Tissa Attanayake today stated that due to the present government's negligence, the entire country has fallen victim to Covid-19.
He said that this was because the government had insisted that there was no community spread of the virus and did not take proper precautions.
At a media briefing held today in Colombo, Attanayake said that the government did not expect that a third wave was imminent and therefore was negligent and ignorant.
He also questioned as to what the government's solution would be if the PCR kits that are presently available in the country, run out of stock.
