Business professional Theshara Jayasinghe has been appointed Chairman of the National Youth Services Council.
Jayasinghe currently works as HSBC Country Head of Procurement and Payments for SriLanka & Maldives.
He holds Master's degrees in Financial Economics and Business Studies from the University of Colombo.
Jayasinghe also possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
from the University of Western Sydney 2004.
Jayasinghe has provided consultancy services to Government Agencies including the Central Bank of Sri Lanka(CBSL) and the Information and Communication Technology Agency(ICTA).
He has also provided consultancy services to private sector companies including the Colombo Stocks Exchange, Brandix Lanka, Bank of Ceylon and Sri Lanka Telecom.
He was a founding member of Viyathmaga and Ekathuva Youth Movement.
