United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarians Palitha Thewarapperuma and Heshan Withanage were grated bail after being arrested today.
The two MPs were arrested over an assault on retired Major Ajith Prasanna.
Ajith Prasanna had complained to the Police that he was assaulted in front of Temple Trees recently.
He accused the two MPs of being involved in the assault.
