Thirty-four people have been arrested in the past 24 hours for violating quarantine rules.
Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that they have been arrested for not wearing face masks and maintaining social distance.
Accordingly, 2,415 persons have been arrested for violating the quarantine rules during the period from October 30 to date.
It is reported that 2250 of the arrested persons have been charged so far.
