Three suspects were arrested during a number of drug related operations that were carried out in various parts of the country yesterday (02), Police Media Spokesman, DIG Ajith Rohana said.
Details of such arrests are below -
A 22-year-old man was arrested in Trincomalee with 17 grams of heroin and a live grenade.
A 51-year-old man was arrested in the Angulana area with 05 grams of heroin.
A 39 year old man was arrested in Wattala with 03 grams of heroin.
DIG Ajith Rohana says that these drug related operations will be carried out continuously.
