Police have arrested three persons at the Central Mail Exchange today (02) with 600 defamatory letters inciting enmity amongst races.
The letters were reportedly targetted at President Maithripala Sirisena and the various races and were addressed to various Buddhist temples across the island the Police Spokesman stated.
The three individuals who were arrested have now been handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) for further investigations the Police said.Three arrested with 600 hate mail
