Former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Hector Dharmasiri has been sentenced to three years in jail effective from today (02).
The Bribery Commission filed a case against the former DIG in 2012 over allegations that he had allegedly used police officers on duty in the construction of his private residence in 2007.
