TID to grill copper factory employees

Eight employees of a copper factory in Wellampitiya, who had earlier been arrested but were later released on bail, were today ordered to appear before the Terrorism Investigations Division (TID) from tomorrow till June 1st to record statements. One employee of the copper factory in Wellampitiya, arrested over the Easter Sunday attacks, was further remanded till June 10. Karupayya Rajendran Abdulla and the others were employed at the copper factory in Wellampitiya owned by the family of the suicide bomber who carried out the attack on the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo.
