The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has pledged its support to New Democratic Front (NDF) presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa at the forthcoming presidential polls.
However, TNA leader R Sampanthan is yet to release an official statement in this regard.
Yesterday, TNA's main constituent party the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) decided to extend its support to Premadasa.
TNA Leader R. Sampanthan was requested to inform the stand of Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO) and People's Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE), the remaining constituents of TNA.
