A total of 180 Covd-19 cases have been reported from the Navy so far, Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said today.
Among the 180 navy officials, 112 are from Welisara Navy Camp while 68 are from those who are on leave.
The 44 Covid-19 cases reported so far today were identified as Navy officials. This has brought the the total number of Covid-19 patients in the Island to 567.
The number of Covid-19 cases in the Island surpassed the mark of 500 cases yesterday (26) with the country reaching 523 cases by midnight.
Meanwhile, six Covid-19 patients have recovered and were discharged today, raising the total number of recovered cases in the country to 126.
