The Ministry of Tourism has assigned several officials to hotels and certain hospitals to assist tourists.
Minster of Tourism, John Amaratunga has said that special representatives are currently acting on behalf of Sri Lanka Tourism at hospitals where injured tourists are receiving treatment, the hotels damaged as well as the Bandaranaike International Airport to assist tourists.A total of 35 foreign individuals have reportedly died and many more tourists injured as a result of the Easter Sunday bombings that took place at eight different locations around Sri Lanka.
