MP Mano Ganeshan says that the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) has met President Maithripala Sirisena and informed that the group cannot accept his invitation to join the government.

Ganeshan has in a twitter message said that all six MPs of the TPA had met the President to communicate this message.

"As a civilized political entity, we as Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) team of all Six (6) MPs met President @MaithripalaS and told him that we can't accept his invitation to join his government. #lka," the MP has tweeted.
