The Special High Court today lifted an overseas travel ban imposed on former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The ban was lifted when the case over the alleged misappropriation of state funds by Rajapaksa was heard by the Special High Court today. The Special High Court lifted the overseas travel ban on Rajapaksa for a period of one month from December 14.
