The travel ban imposed on Hambantota District Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa has been temporarily lifted until 23 July 2020.
The order was delivered when the money laundering case against Namal Rajapaksa was taken up before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today.
Namal Rajapaksa and three others have been accused of laundering money amounting to Rs.30 million through Gowers Corporate Services (Pvt) Limited between 2013 and 2014.
The case will be taken up for hearing once again on 23 July 2020.
