The Attorney General has requested the Chief Justice to appoint a Trial-at-Bar bench to hear the abduction and disappearance of 11 youth case.
The 11 youth had been abducted in Colombo and the suburbs between 2008 and 2009 and were allegedly tortured in a secret cell at the Gunside Navy Camp.
Former Sri Lanka Navy Commander Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda and Commodore D.K.P Dassanayake are amoung the suspects named in the high-profile Magistrate’s Court case.
