Further to the incident yesterday (14) where a hand grenade had been found in a toilet of a private hospital in Narahenpita, one suspect has been arrested.
Accordingly, the suspect is a youth hailing from Uppaveli in Trincomalee, Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa confirmed.
The suspect has been handed over to the custody of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for further investigations.
