Police have arrested two persons in connection with the recent torture and 'crucifixion' of two persons in Balagolla, Kandy, the Kandy Police stated.
Balagolla Police have launched an investigation into the abduction and torture of two persons in connection with an incident of insulting them through the Facebook social media network.
The suspects were taken to the Ampitiya area and nailed to a cross, police said.
The incident had taken place on the 25th and the investigation has revealed the incident based on information received by the police.
