Two persons returning from a nightclub were arrested over a hit-and-run accident on the Marine Drive in Wellawatta this morning in which one victim was killed, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
Four were injured in the accident and one victim died on admission to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Kalubowila.
The driver and a passenger who were returning from a nightclub and were under the influence of liquor were arrested over the accident.
