Touring Bangladeshi Under-19 cricket team made a solid 309 in their first-innings, against their Sri Lankan counterparts on day two of the first Youth (4-day) Test at NCC grounds, Colombo on Wednesday, 17 October.

The top seven Bangladeshi batsmen made it to the double-figures with Amite Hasan top-scoring with a 99-ball 64, with six fours.
Skipper Towhid Hridoy struck 54 runs in 107 balls, inclusive of three fours and a six.
Right-arm medium-fast bowler Chamindu Wijesinghe of Nalanda College bowled best for the hosts taking four for 68.
Sri Lanka U-19, in their reply, opened batting with a 55-run stand, between Navod Paranavithana (35 n.o.) and Kamil Mishara (19), before play ended when the hosts were 65 for one in 26 overs.
