The United Nation Human Rights Council (UNHRC) have passed the resolution on Sri Lanka without the need for a vote in Geneva today (21).
The Resolution was presented by the Core Group on Sri Lanka and was cosponsored by Sri Lanka and several other countries.
The resolution titled “Promoting reconciliation, accountability and human rights in Sri Lanka” give Sri Lanka another two years to fully implement Resolution 30/1 of October 2015.
