Despite rumours of discussions taking place between the United National Party (UNP) and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), there still hasn’t been any official discussion between the two parties, UNP senior advisor Lasantha Goonewardena said.
“Although the SJB is making statements about potential meetings scheduled with our senior members, none of those meetings have taken place yet.
“A group will meet our present Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe at Sirikotha today (2) to discuss the way forward.
