The United National Party today stated that all May Day celebrations of the party will be suspended due to the current pandemic situation in the country.
They stated that previously, there had been plans to have a May Day celebration with a limited amount of people.
"However, following discussions with UNP leader Ranil Wickramasinghe, we decided that it was less prudent to hold a rally or celebration at this decisive moment," they said.
