Unruly O/L students to be punished under Examinations Act

The Department of Examinations says it will not accept unruly behaviour by students at the conclusion of the G.C.E O/L examination. The G.C.E O/L exams commenced on Dec 2 and will conclude on Dec 12. The Department issuing a statement today urged all O/L students to disperse peacefully once the examination is concluded. The Department added that if students are found obstructing and bothering other students or causing damage to private property they will be held liable to punishment under the Examinations Act. The department will also take measures to invalidate results if any student is found breaking the rules imposed. According to the Examinations Department, all Police stations have been informed of the government's decision.
