Further to the alleged incident last week involving former State Minister of Prisons and Prisoner Rehabilitation Lohan Ratwatte, Head Jailor at the Anuradhapura prison complex Samanatha Priyadarshana has confirmed that Commissioner General of the Prisons Department Thushara Upuldeniya has arrived at the Anuradhapura prison complex for investigations.
Upuldeniya is due to speak to the detainees involved during the incident, as well as witnesses of the incident.
