The event featuring clothing, accessories, and beauty products was in the hopes of allowing everyone a quiet, peaceful, and good time. Urban Island is well known for being a purely environment friendly brand Sri Lankans love to visit. The shop, featuring many brands, has a range of products – cushions, cutlery, clothing, beauty products, books, food, and much more. To the eye of a stranger, visiting for the first time, this shop has it all.
Located at a convenient spot in Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 07, Urban Island shares its vision for making the island better with each day with organic ingredients and recycled products.
When you first enter the luxurious space, your eye immediately will focus on the many beauty products that wait in line. Urban Island is home to many well-being and skincare brands such as Coast Skincare, Spice Island, The Silk Body, Ophir, Moonshadow, Bath Bliss, Healing Island, and much more. Along with products that are in extremely high demand, the shop also opens up to exclusive designer wear, mostly designed by highly qualified AOD students with new and upcoming brands, featuring brands such as House of Lonali, UDAK, IKIGAI, and more.
The day had a calm, serene environment for people everywhere to escape the hustle and bustle of the current situation in Sri Lanka. Along with Café Kumbuk offering a range of delicious assortments of food and delicacies, there was also a session of relaxation through meditation complemented with essential oils in the comfort of the small yet comfortable space at Urban Island. Urban Island also offered a complementary foot massage for all customers and visitors that passed by.
