US Embassy in Sri Lanka today issued a security alert to American citizens travelling to Sri Lanka ahead of the presidential polls.
"The U.S. Embassy reminds American citizens of the potential for demonstrations before, during, and after the November 16, 2019, presidential election," U.S. Embassy website stated.
