A victim of the attacks on Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka, US official Chelsea Decaminada had succumbed to her injuries yesterday (08).
It was reported that the official had been in Sri Lanka on an assignment for the US Department of Commerce.
She, unfortunately, fell victim to the terrorist attacks carried out in several Churches around Sri Lanka and three five-star hotels in Colombo on 21 April.
“It was our great hope that Chelsea would recover from her injuries. My prayers are with Chelsea’s family during this difficult time,” the US Department of Commerce said.
