The Delta+ variant of Covid-19 has not been detected by the laboratory of the Allergy, Immunology, and Cell Biology unit at Sri Jayewardenepura University, as confirmed by the Unit’s Director Dr. Chandima Jeewandara
He clarified this today (21) via a twitter post as he stated that many queries have been received regarding the spread of the Delta+ Covid-19 variant in Sri Lanka.
