It has been decided to temporarily suspend the issuance of vehicle revenue licenses in the Sabaragamuwa Province.
It is said that the decision was taken considering the pandemic situation in the country.
Accordingly, it has been decided to suspend the issuance of vehicle revenue licenses in that province from today (13) to 31.05.2021.
It has been decided to issue revenue licenses without any penalty till 2021.06.15 including that period.
Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary of the Central Province M. W. M. M. Madhapola said in a statement that the issuance of revenue licenses for vehicles registered in the Central Province will be temporarily suspended due to the prevailing Covid situation.
Accordingly, no fines will be levied on vehicle revenue licenses that expire between 2021.05.17 and 2021.06.14, he said.
