Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage says that vehicles will not be imported for Members of Parliament.
The Minister pointed out that the government has decided to temporarily suspend the proposal to import the relevant vehicles.
Accordingly, no vehicles will be imported. Addressing the 360 program telecast on Derana, Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage further stated, "Everyone's decision is that vehicles should not be imported at this time. The decision to import vehicles was taken by the Speaker. This is to give vehicle licenses to Members of Parliament,"
