Member of Parliament Venerable Athuraliye Rathana Thera has been discharged from the Kandy Teaching Hospital today (05).
Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thera was admitted to hospital owing to dehydration which he experienced during his four-day protest fast which he commenced on May 31 at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy.
Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thera was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit on Monday (03) and was later moved to the General Bhikku ward yesterday (04) after having reached a stable position.
