Vietnam softens travel restriction to SL

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) issued a document loosening travel restrictions to Vietnamese tourists to travel to Sri Lanka.

Under the document, a Sri Lankan Provisional Representative in Vietnam worked with leaders of the VNAT on July 6, affirming that the current security situation of Sri Lanka is stable ND reported.

Many countries, including China, India, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden, have loosened the recommendations for visitors to the country.

The VNAT asked the enterprises to carefully guide tourists to strictly abide by the rules of law, and respect the fine traditions and customs of destinations, preserving the image of the nation and ensuring the security and safety of the tourists.
