A Vote on Account on state expenditure for the first four months of 2020 will be presented to the parliament on 23 Oct.
On 1 Oct The Cabinet of Ministers approved a proposal made by the Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera to present a Vote of Account for the first four months of the year 2020 in Parliament.
Since the Presidential polls is scheduled on 16 November 2019, the Budget for the year 2020 will be postponed to early 2020.
