An arrest warrant has been issued on Pearl K. Weerasinghe, Secretary of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) probing political victimization today.
The warrant was issued by the Colombo HC special Trial-at-Bar as the Secretary had failed to attend the court proceedings despite being issued notices.
The PCoI was issued notice to submit documentation with regard to the 'Ali Roshan' case.
The Commission is currently conducting an inquiry into the case.
