A website on missing journalist Prageeth Ekneligoda, and others like him who have been abducted and been made victims of enforced disappearance, is being launched for public access today (25) at ekneligodaforum.org.
According to Prageeth Ekneligoda’s wife, Sandya Ekneligoda, who is continuing her efforts to trace her husband, yesterday (24) marked 11 years since her husband’s abduction and enforced disappearance.
At the time of his disappearance Ekneligoda was working as a cartoonist, political analyst, and journalist. He was reported missing on 24 January 2010, two days before the presidential polls in Sri Lanka, which was won by current Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
