Minister of Public Security Dr Sarath Weerasekera has been transferred from the Police Hospital in Narahenpita to the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH) in Angoda.
Speaking to The Morning today (21), Consultant Physician at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases Dr Ananda Wijewickrama confirmed the same.
"Dr Weerasekera has indeed been transferred to the IDH hospital from the Police Hospital. Whereas, his condition is stable," said Dr Wijewickrama.
