World Health Organization (WHO) Director General (DG) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and President Gotabaya Rajapaksa have held a tele-phonic conversation over the latest developments related to the outbreak of COVID-19.
“We discussed health and economic impacts that COVID-19 can have on Sri Lanka and the whole region,” Ghebreyesus said in a twitter message.
Ghebreyesus further thanked President Rajapaksa for his efforts in mobilizing the whole-of-government in the fight against the coronavirus.
