Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Manusha Nanayakkara was recently informed to appear before the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today (20).
However, as a reason behind the summoning was not provided to him, the MP had sent his lawyer instead.
Speaking to the media after exiting the CID premises, his lawyer explained that a letter had been handed over to the CID, requesting for a valid reason behind the summons.
Accordingly, the MP is awaiting a response from the CID in this regard.
