Newly appointed Minister of Justice Ali Sabry PC assured that no one would be harmed or subjected to unfair treatment by the proposed constitutional amendments and that the Government would work to strengthen both the Constitution and the people of Sri Lanka.
He made these observations while addressing the gathering after he assumed duties as the Minister of Justice yesterday (17) at the Ministry premises.
Sabry further noted that over 70 years have been wasted talking about nationality, religion, and caste, adding that he would work hard to remove all these obstacles and drive the country towards prosperity.
