Will remove State bank officials if relief not given: Prez

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today (11) said he will remove officers from Public banks if government relief measures were not executed. “Private and State banks have been criticized severely for not executing Covid-19 relief measures taken by the government," Rajapaksa  said during a meeting at the Presidential Secretariat today. He said it had come to light that these benefits had not reached the public and business organisations. Rajapaksa said he will not hesitate to take measures to remove those who do not take the advice of the government and replace them with those who are capable.
